List of National and International Awards won by Dr Jaidev Singh Retola: Part Three

It's really mindblowing to write the list here. It has been a hectic work since this man has been an intelligent soul all his life and he has always been working for the common good of mankind. He is into his early 70s and there's not a single sign of slowing down.
Dr Jaidev Singh Retola's medical brilliance and his love for mankind and humanity, has earned him lots of awards and praise. We started out with the List of National and International Awards won by Dr Jaidev Singh Retola and this is our third straight part of the list and it still isn't finished.
However, this time we are making sure that we cover the remaining list, before we continue with something else, something great from his life. So, here's another list of awards being awarded to him nationally and internationally. (There are various other decorations he has been bestowed with and we will follow and share them appropriately)

44.	The International Biographical Centre Cambridge England Foundation has been nomenclatured on his name as “THE DR. JAIDEV SINGH RETOLA FOUNDATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL CENTRE CAMBRIDGE ENGLNAD”, vide letter dated: 11.1.2008.
45.	Dr. Retola has been invited to attend the 2008 World Forum (Pre & Post Forum Events at St. Catherine’s College, Oxford University Cambridge England vide letter dated: 25.1.2008.
46.	Dr.J.S.Retola ( DDG) has been requested to become a life time of Medical achievements Award with certificate of appreciation & Medal vide letter Ref. LHPA, dated: 08.02.2008.
47.	USA has requested Dr. Retola, to accept the 21st Century Award after equating him with the Albert Einstein Genius dedication the greatest Scientist of 20th Century vide letter dated: 15.02.2008.
48.	Dr. Retola has been Awarded the Legion of Honour, vide letter Ref. No. LOH/inv, dated: 11.4.2008.
49.	Dr. Retola has been Awarded for the Decree of Medicine & Health Care, vide letter Ref. DOE/ME/inv. Dated: 18.4.2008.
50.	Mr. Clive Emmett, FCA President World Congress of Arts, Sciences and communications vide his letter No. Ref. WCLAA/rev, dated:4th April 2008 mentioning that world congress is mandated to promote the recognition and accomplishments of worthy individuals world wide with no barrier to race, creed or political frontier. It takes no funding or sponsorship from third party organizations and is thus completely independent to honour those who have reached the pinnacle of their achievements. It, therefore, gives me particular pleasure to nominate you Dr. Retola as recipient of “The World Congress of Arts, Sciences & Communications (LIFE ACHIVEMENT AWARD) for significant services to Medicine & Healthcare.”
51.	The International Biographical Centre Cambridge England Mr. Nicholas S. Law, Director General vide his letter No. Ref. WCLAA/Rev, dated: 04th April, 2008 has chosen Dr. J.S.Retola for the Congress’s prestigious “LIFE TIME ACHIVEMENT AWARD”
52.	Your nomination to receive the “2008 Man of the Year” representing India vide letter dated: July 11, 2008 from American Biographical Institute I.B.C, 2008 World Forum Oxford England.
53.	The Personal Biographical Hall of fame vide letter, Ref. PBHOF/VIP/inv, dated: 4th July, 2008 I.B.C Cambridge England. Dr. Retola has been requested to give his consent for its acceptance.
54.	The “Life Time Greatness Award” vide letter Ref. LGA/inv dated: 8th August, 2008 I.B.C Cambridge England.
55.	“Rashtriya Samman Purskar with Gold Medal & Certificate of Medical Excellence” bestowed on Dr. J.S.Retola at Constitutional Club Speaker Hall, Rafi Marg New Delhi on 16th October 2008 in a Award function organized by the Indian Society for Industries & Intellectual Development.
56.	Dr. Retola has been selected for receiving The Ultimate Achiever Award of the I.B.C. Cambridge England vide letter No. Ref.UHP/rev, dated: 27.11.2009.
57.	The President A.B.I., U.S.A. has recognized & Awarded Dr. Retola to receive the A.B.I. World Laureate Award because on behalf of the World Laureate Council of the Biographical Institute, Your Standing as A.B.I. WORLD LAUREATE for your unparalleled contribution to medicine & your reputation within & outside of your country of India have called for your recognition as a Modern Spearhead of Influence on the World Stage. The A.B.I. World Laureate  is a perfect reflection of what you have achieved, vide dated letter. 13.01.2010.
58.	The President A.B.I., U.S.A. too has chosen Dr. Retola to have his Award Foundation in A.B.I., U.S.A. as a Tribute in his Name, vide letter 15.01.2010, while coping for the orders of Director General I.B.C., Cambridge England who also has established the Award Foundation in International Biographical Centre as the part of Benefaction to Award the Five highly distinguished personalities of the World per annum.
59.	Dr. Retola has been recognized to receive The International Hippocrates Award for medical achievement recognized as “Iconic Achiever” by the Director General I.B.C., Cambridge, vide letter No. Ref. IHA/vip/inv, dated: 24.09.2010.
60.	Dr. Retola has been proposed to receive the Tesla Award while honouring Outstanding Communicators by the International Biographical Centre Cambridge England vide Ref.TTA/vip/inv, dated: 05.11.2010.
61.	Dr. Retola has been nominated to receive the Cambridge Certificate for Outstanding Medical Achievement by the International Biographical Centre Cambridge England vide Ref.CCHP/vip/inv, dated: 19.11.2010.
62.	The International Publishing House, 22, Babar Road, Near Bengali Market, New Delhi-110001, has chosen 13 (Thirteen) Highly distinguished personalities of India for the Best Citizens of India Award-2011, keeping Dr. J.S.Retola at the No. 1 (One) position in the list & also addressing only him with the decorum as Respected Dr. Jaidev Singh Retola in recognition of his exceptional caliber & outstanding performance in his chosen are of activity. Dated:29th April 2011. Trophy & Best Citizens Biographical book also have been presented to him.
63.	The Pollywood Star Media Intergloble Foundation New Delhi, at the time of the Seminar on “Political Scenario And Media” has bestowed on Dr. Jaidev Singh Retola, the Eminent & World Famous Doctor-Himachal Pradesh, the Pollywood Star Pride of Nation Award-2011 on 20th August 2011 at Deputy Speaker Hall, Constitutional Club, New Delhi, presented by the Chief Guest SH. HARISH  RAWAT, Hon’ble Minister of State Agriculture, Govt. of India.
64.	The Director General of “International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England, vide his letter to Dr. J.S.Retola, Ref. OIFPP/rev, Dated: 30th September, 2011, has nominated Dr. Jaidev Singh Retola. D.D.G. (Asia) to receive “The Order of International Fellowship Peace Prize with the two major aims. :- (1)  To promote understanding and Fellowship around the World.  (2) To honour a select few distinguished individuals who, by example, have helped create this International Fellowship.
65.	Dr. J.S.Retola, DDG for Asia has been bestowed the “Life Time Achievement Award”  with Golden Statuette presentation by the United Cultural Convention 2011 on 18-10-2011 for Excellence in Medical Science in the World which was proposed to be given to him through the letter of General in residence on dated May 20, 2011.
66.	Dr. Retola has been offered the “Life Time of Honour Award” for the year 2011 by the Director General Mr. Nicholas S. Law for his outstanding achievements in Medical science especially for his outstanding work in the treatment of chronic gangrene cases & remarkable achievement in controlling plague outbreak in India as well as in America.
67.	After examining & visualizing the list of chronic gangrene cases in India treated by Dr. Retola for the Ist time in the World to full cure without opting for the amputation of their organs/parts of the body affected which has not been done in the whole World till today but the gangrene patients were treated only after opting for the amputation of the affected organ/parts of the body. Therefore Mrs. Janet Evans, the President A.B.I., U.S.A., has created a new “World Hall of Fame” to honour Dr. Retola after induction into this Hall of Fame at number one place hereafter any doctor in the World who will be able to do so will be inducted into this World Hall of Fame after Dr. Retola. This World Hall of Fame will include only the outstanding persons only in Medical Science.
68	The Himachal Lekhak avam Kalakar Sangh Shimla-1 organized, “The Kavi Samelan on 15th August 2012 the Independence Day when several renowned & distinguished poets recited their poems. During this special occasion Dr. Jaidev Singh Retola Rtd. S.M.O., H.P. Legislative Assembly Shimla-4 & Ist Registrar Rtd. Himachal Pradesh Medical Council Shimla-1 & Ist Inductee of the World Hall of Fame created by Her Excellency, The President American Biographical Institute North Carolina U.S.A., for his extra ordinary achievements in the field of Medical Science 2011, was bestowed upon the highly distinguished Dhanvantry Award, 2012.
69	The International Biographical Centre Cambridge England U.K. bestowed, “The Life Time Achievement Award for Deputy Directors Generals of the I.B.C. since Dr. J.S. Retola has been appointed as Dy. Director General for Asia out of Five Dy. Director Generals of the World each one for each Regional Division of the World viz. 1. Africa 2. America 3. Asia 4. Europe & 5. Oceania, vide letterNo. Ref. LAAD/Inv, 3rd August 2012.
70	The Hon’ble President of the Recognition Board of the World Congress of Arts, Sciences & Communications has appointed Dr. J.S. Retola, D.D.G for Asia as the Vice President of the above mentioned World Institution vide letter No. Ref-wcvp/vip/invp, Dated: 10th August 2012.

Last time around we shared a small list of about 28 awards won by Dr Retola for his medical excellence. We did metioned that he has been awarded with more than three dozen awards in total and the list just keeps getting bigger and better with lots of international institutes and forums, adding Dr Retola to their esteemed databases. Following from where we left earlier, here's a list of his next 15 awards:

29.	Dr. J.S.Retola’s name has also been short listed by India International, Friendship Society New Delhi (110001) India, for conferring “Bharat Jyoti Award” during the conference”.
30.	He is nominated for one of the IBC’s most revered recognitions – The Da Vinci Diamond – presented for inspirational accomplishment dated: 25th August, 2006.
31.	Invitation to join the International Biographical Association at St. Thomas Place, Ely, CB 7 4GG Great Britain in the capacity of the fellow of ranks of an association of professionals & academics from across the glove dated 25th August, 2006.
32.	Dr. Retola has been selected to receive the I.B.C.’s Salute to Greatness Award. The Director General I.B.C. Cambridge England has stated that it is once again my great honour & pleasure as Director General of the I.B.C. Cambridge England to Salute him for his Internationally recognized Greatness & to thank you for making the World in which we live a better place. Dated: 01-09-2006.
33.	Chikitsa Shiromani Award & Gold Medal was bestowed upon Dr. J.S.Retola by Hon’ble Ex – Governor of Seven States Sh. Bhisham  Narayan Singh & Hon’ble Speaker of Meghalya on dated : 10-11-2006 at Delhi
34.	All India Achiever’s Conference ALAC/GOVARC- 2006/05J. Dated: 17.11.2006, requested Dr. Retola through this letter to accept for the ALAC Awards for Excellence in various categories have become a globally appreciated recognition that comes rarely & to a few only who have worked hard to achieve & excel in their chosen field of activity. It symbolizes the spirit of outstanding “Achievements & Excellence” in one go. Apart from the Glitz & Glamour of celebrity personalities from the Film & television world, our forthcoming 54th National seminar with theme “Individual Achievements & National Building” being held in New Delhi on Friday the 05 of January 2007 will witness the crowning of Man & Women from various fields from all over India, who have done exceptionally well & become role models worthy of emulation by others, therefore except for the Arc of Excellence Award 2008 he will also be given the Gem of India Award 2008 for your distinctive achievements.

36.	Dr. J.S.Retola has also been included in the Cambridge Blue book 2005/06 out of 100 distinguished personalities from World wide, on dated: 06-03-2006.
37.	Dr. Retola has been nominated as International Health Professional of the Year by the Director General I.B.C. Cambridge England, date 12.01.2007.
38.	Dr. Retola has been chosen for the “Life time of Greatness Award”, by the Director General I.B.C. Cambridge England, vide dated: 13.04.2007.
39.	Dr. Retola has been chosen & bestowed the I.B.C.’s Pinnacle of Achievements Awards & Certificate of Achievement proclaims the induction of Dr. Jaidev Singh Retola DDG into the Pinnacle of Achievement Award 2007 for his exceptional achievement of said individual in the arena of Health care Service towards ailing humanity & the Spiritual ufliftment of soul for salvation, vide dated: 27.04.2007.
40.	Dr. Retola has been chosen for receiving the International Order of Merit Award, a new order of excellence from the International Biographical Centre of Cambridge England vide date 11.05.2007.
41.	Dr. Retola has been nominated to accept for the post of Vice President of recognition Board of the World Congress of Arts, Sciences & Communications by the Clive Emmett, FCA vide dated: 27.07.2007.
42.	Dr. Retola has been chosen to receive the Decree of Excellence in Health Care vide letter No. Ref. DOEMH/REW, dated:14.09.2007.
43.	He has been requested to become the Regional Advisor to the Director General of the IBC for Asia, vide letter dated: 04.01.2008.

List of National and International Awards won by Dr Jaidev Singh Retola

We have been mentioning this in our earlier posts that the genius, Dr. Jaidev Singh Retola has won more than three dozen National and International awards till now, and the list just keeps getting bigger every year. The awards, medals and certificates, are enough to somewhat understand his brilliance. While most of these awards and medals are for his medical excellence, there are others for his extraordinary & meritorious deeds & services imparted towards the ailing humanity of the State & the Nation as a whole. 

Of course! We have been following his journey as being one of the best Gangrene doctors in the world but, that's not the only reason he has been awarded with all these awards. Dr. Jaidev Singh Retola has had a significant role as an expert in containing plague and other serious, communicable diseases. It was the upper Himcahali region of Himachal Pradesh, where he has been a celebrated name for foreseeing numerous, deadly Plague outbreaks. And everytime, theismiraculous doctor had the last laugh. We'll definitely love to share about this but, for now, here's the list of 28 major awards awarded to Dr Retola. (There are lots of other awards that we will share in our next post)

1.	Thakur Ved Ram, National Award for 1998. Bestowed at Bhuttico Weavers Industry at Shamshi Distt. Kullu Founded by late Thakur Ved Ram ji.
2.	Balraj Sahani, National Award For 1999 bestowed by Raja Sahib Sh. Vir Bhadra Singh Ji, Ex-C.M & CLP leader Himachal  Pradesh at Kaali  Bari Hall Shimla during All India Artists Association Annual Drama & Dance Competition function.
3.	Punjab Arts & Culture National Honor for 1999 at Jalandhar bestowed by the Commissioner M.C Jalandhar.
4.	Himtimes Award Of Excellence for 2000 bestowed by His Excellency The Governor of Himachal Pradesh Sh.Vishnu Kant Shastri jee at Solitaire Hotel during the inaugural function of Him Times.Com the first Internet news Paper of Himachal Pradesh.
5.	One Silver Medal from IBC Cambridge England for recognizing him as one of the first 500 outstanding personalities of the world at the new millennium. His name has been included in the International Dictionary Book of IBC Cambridge England also at this occasion.
6.	Balraj Sahani National Award for second time for 2000 bestowed by His Excellency The Governor of Himachal Pradesh Sh. Suraj Bhan Jee during All India Artists Association Annual Drama & Dance competition at Kali Bari Hall Shimla-1.
7.	One Silver Medal from IBC Cambridge England for confirmation of his appointment as Deputy Director General (For Asia) out of five DDGs of the World each one from Africa, America, Asia, Europe & Oceania vide photocopy of press release by Director General, IBC Cambridge England attached. During the year 2005 vide letter from The Director General I.B.C. Cambridge England, he has been promoted further as Hon. Director-General for Asia.
8.	Punjab Arts & Culture National Award for second time for 2001 bestowed by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Punjab University at Jallandhar on 09-12-2001.
9.	Bharat Excellence National Award & Gold Medal conferred on him at New Delhi by the Friendship Forum of India at its annual function on 27-09-2002 to the selected candidates from World over bestowed by His Excellency The Governor of Delhi.
10.	Glory of India Award & Gold Medal conferred on him at New Delhi by the Friendship Forum of India on its annual function on 27-09-2002 to the selected candidates from the World over bestowed by Chief Election Commissioner Sh. G.V.G. Krishanmurty
11.	A Gold plated plaque from ABI America as an honor to his being selected as one of the One Hundred Most Intriguing People of 2002 of the World.
12.	Rising Personalities of India Award & Gold Medal & an International Book on Rising Personalities including his name after the only nine previous Awardees as per the list of the letter attached.
13.	Pankas National Award for 2002 bestowed on him at Jallandhar on 15-12-2002 by the Hon’ble Health Minister of Punjab Sh. Manoranjan  Kalia.
14.	A Life-time achievement award bestowed on him on 23-04-2003 by the United Writer’s Association Chennai by His Excellency The Lt. Governor of Pondicherry.
15.	Rashtriya Rattan Award & Gold Medal (Certificate Of Excellence) for 2003 by the International Penguin Publishing House, New Delhi on 25-07-2003 during the annual function of National Unity & Economic Growth for 2003.
16.	Pride of India Gold Award & Gold Medal(Certificate of Excellence) for the year 2003 by the International Penguin Publishing House, New Delhi on 25-07-2003 during the annual function of National Unity & Economic Growth for 2003.
17.	America sought help from Dr.Retola in connection with effective, prompt control & with meagre number of deaths in future plague outbreaks in America as per photocopy of the news paper attached.
18.	Induction of Dr.Retola’s Biography & Portrait into the Hall Of Fame in ABI, USA during 9th day of May 2003. Photocopy attached.
19	Dr. Retola proposed and named for a candidate for a Master Diploma with honours from the World Academy of Letters by The Chancellor J.M.Evans, California,U.S.A., vide dated: 23-01-2004.
20.	Induction of Dr.Retola’s Biography & Portrait into the IBC Cambridge, England on 15th November 2004. Photocopy of letter attached.
21.	Controlled plague outbreaks thrice in Distt. Shimla (H.P), at the risk of his life with remarkably small number of deaths as compared to the number of deaths in America & other plague prone countries of the world during plague epidemic outbreaks there.
22.	Successfully solved the Mass Hysteria problem of the girls of Higher Secondary Girls School Rohru during June, 1991 in the capacity of ultimate resort because of the absolute failure of qualified doctors, including the Govt. administration, local deities, God, Goddesses & Tantra Mantra. 23.	Dr. Retola’s A.C.R.s remained throughout outstanding for his outstanding & extra ordinary achievements till his superannuation on 31-03-05.
24.	The prestigious HIMACHAL GAURAV AWARD bestowed on 20-02-2005 by Punjab Kala Sahithya Academy Jalandhar at Guru Nanak Dev District Library Hall at Jalandhar for his outstanding & risksome services rendered towards the plague patients & their contacts during February 2002 in retaliation to the bestowal of this prestigious award by H.P govt. to a doctor who had very negligible contribution towards plague control of 2002 as compared to Dr. Retola.
25.	His case has been recommended by The Hon’ble  Speaker, H.P. Legislative Assembly Shimla-4, for bestowal of prestigious Padma Shri  Award to His Excellency The President of India.
26.	Rashtriya Rattan Award, Gold Medal & Certificate of Excellence in Medical Science was bestowed upon Dr. J.S.Retola, for his extra ordinary achievements in controlling the plague out break of 2002, by His Excellency Sh. A.R.Kidwai, The Hon’ble Governor of Haryana on 5th August 2005 at Chandigarh in retaliation to Govt. of HP decision for selecting inefficient doctor for this award.
27.	The President J.M.Evans of A.B.I., U.S.A., has announced his nomination to enter the Order of American Ambassador as a Sovereign Ambassador. This is a major & distinctive honour warranted by his achievements, dated: 10-03-2006.
28.	Dr. J.S.Retola, Ist Registrar HP Medical Council Shimla-1 has been selected by the IBC Cambridge/Oxford University England to confer upon him “the prestigious Marie Curie Award, Medal & Certificate of High Achievement during the Inaugural World Forum events going to be celebrated at oxford university w.e.f 4th to 9th July 2006 under the special component “The Global Year of Medicine & Health Care 2006”.  He is the only invitee from India to attend this World Forum events function.
